It’s official — Hollywood icon Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas are now a couple. After weeks of speculation and growing buzz online, the pair all but confirmed their relationship as they were spotted arriving together in London, just days ahead of Ana’s 37th birthday.
According to Daily Mail, Cruise, 62, piloted a private helicopter himself, flying the two into the UK capital. Photographs obtained by the outlet captured Cruise in a fitted T-shirt and jeans, and Ana in laid-back summer attire: shorts, sneakers, and sunglasses. With her dog Elvis on her lap and another dog, Salsa, handled by a friend, the actress looked relaxed and comfortable beside Cruise, sparking a fresh wave of fan excitement.

Rumors of a romantic connection between the Mission: Impossible actor and the Knives Out star have swirled for weeks. But insiders now confirm their relationship is growing serious — and even one of Cruise’s former partners is cheering them on. The ex in question? Penélope Cruz, whom Cruise dated between 2001 and 2004.
“Ana has said that Penélope is happy for her, she approves,” a source close to the couple told the Daily Mail. The two actresses reportedly share mutual friends in Madrid, where Ana lived for several years before transitioning to Hollywood fame.
While Cruise is known for keeping his personal life intensely private, sources reveal he’s planning to bring de Armas as his guest to the 78th Cannes Film Festival, where his much-anticipated film Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning is set to premiere on May 14.
“Ana finds comfort and safety in Tom,” one insider revealed. “She had a difficult time dealing with fans and stalkers during her time in Venice Beach, which led her to buy a $7 million home in a secluded area of Vermont in 2022. But with Tom, she feels protected. He’s thoughtful, careful, and ensures she’s never put at risk. His security presence and his calming nature make her feel completely safe.”
Another source added a personal insight into Ana’s preferences, noting, “She’s always had a thing for older men, and Tom fits her type.” And despite public skepticism about the pairing, the source emphasized, “Being affectionate is not something Ana does for show — she’s genuine. This is not a PR stunt.”
For now, the couple is said to be taking things “day by day,” with Ana reportedly guarded when it comes to matters of the heart. “She does not give her heart away easily,” the insider said.
With their public appearance in London and plans for Cannes ahead, Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas are quickly becoming one of Hollywood’s most intriguing new couples.
