The Hollywood icon made a rare red carpet appearance with four of his five children for Netflix’s FUBAR Season 2 premiere. But fans were quick to notice the absence of his youngest son, Joseph Baena.

Hollywood legend Arnold Schwarzenegger made a striking red carpet appearance on Wednesday night in Los Angeles for the premiere of Season 2 of his Netflix action-comedy series FUBAR. The 77-year-old actor was joined by four of his five children, making the event a rare and heartfelt family reunion.
Stylish Family Affair: Four Kids and a Son-in-Law
Schwarzenegger was accompanied by his daughters Katherine, 35, and Christina, 33, and sons Patrick, 31, and Christopher, 27. Also joining the family event was actor Chris Pratt, husband to Katherine Schwarzenegger. The family gathered for a charming group photo, all dressed in coordinated black and navy tones.
Arnold looked classic in a navy suit with a pale-blue shirt, while Patrick and Christopher mirrored their father’s suave presence in sleek black suits. Katherine turned heads in an elegant asymmetrical all-black gown with a bow detail, while Christina opted for a sophisticated black pantsuit. Chris Pratt went for a more laid-back look in black trousers and a navy jacket.
Noticeable Absence: Where Was Joseph Baena?
While the red carpet was filled with smiles and style, fans noticed the absence of Arnold’s youngest son, Joseph Baena. Joseph, 27, is Arnold’s son from an extramarital affair with the family’s longtime housekeeper Mildred Baena—a fact that came to light in 2011, leading to Arnold’s split with wife Maria Shriver.
Though not part of the initial family photo, Arnold later posed in a separate photo with Joseph Baena. Joseph wore a charcoal cardigan paired with high-waisted pants and accessorized with a sweater draped over his shoulders and black loafers, showcasing his signature confident style.
Past Challenges and Evolving Bonds
Arnold and Maria Shriver were married for 25 years before separating in 2011. At the time of their divorce filing, they released a joint statement emphasizing their shared commitment to co-parenting their four children. Speaking on The Howard Stern Show in 2015, Arnold acknowledged the emotional toll of the affair, calling it “a very tough situation for my kids” but noting that Joseph has grown to “totally understand the situation.”
Over the years, Joseph has gradually carved out his own identity, often making public appearances and maintaining a cordial relationship with his father.
Arnold and Patrick Bond Over Career Choices
In a recent joint interview with Variety, Arnold and his son Patrick discussed their careers and differing perspectives on success. Patrick admitted that he hadn’t always followed his father’s advice, choosing smaller acting roles to build a solid foundation. Arnold reminded him of his mantra: “Go for No. 1.”
Despite past challenges, the Schwarzenegger family’s recent public appearance underlines their evolving dynamics, and the premiere marked a proud moment of unity—albeit one with a missing piece.
