Deadpool leads Marvel Rivals into Season 6
Marvel Rivals is only halfway through Season 5, but NetEase Games uses The Game Awards 2025 to confirm Deadpool as the headline addition for Season 6. The new trailer doesn’t include gameplay, but it confirms that the Merc with a Mouth arrives when Season 6: Night at the Museum launches on January 16, 2026. The reveal also showcases his updated design and voice.
Season 6 sets up a chaotic museum storyline
According to NetEase, Season 6 follows Gambit and Rogue as they return to the Collector’s Museum after an attempted theft.
The Collector responds by deploying his “top professional”, along with Deadpool, who proceeds to unleash chaos by opening every cage in the Collection. The studio teases that a hunter is tracking the disruption and will try to stop the unfolding intergalactic disaster.
Else Bloodstone teased for Season 6.5
While Deadpool anchors the new season, the trailer ends with a brief shot of Else Bloodstone, pointing to her likely release during Season 6.5. Her appearance mirrors how previous mid-season heroes have been introduced.
Season 5 continues with new additions
Season 5, which began November 14, is still underway. Gambit arrives as the first new hero of the season, and Rogue joins the roster on PC and consoles on December 12.
