Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar has officially rewritten Hindi cinema’s box office history. On its 25th day in theatres, the spy spectacle stormed into the elite ₹1,000 crore club, becoming the highest-grossing Hindi film in India. In dollar terms, the film has now crossed approximately $120 million globally, with its momentum showing no signs of slowing down.
In just 24 days, Dhurandhar surpassed Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan, which had a lifetime global collection of about $129 million. The next target firmly in sight is Jawan, whose worldwide earnings stand at roughly $140 million. Trade analysts believe Dhurandhar is well-positioned to challenge that record in the coming days.
According to early estimates from Sacnilk, the film earned around $1.25 million (₹10.5 crore) on its fourth Monday alone, taking its domestic net total to nearly $84 million (₹701 crore). Worldwide, the film has already amassed close to $130 million (₹1,081 crore), reinforcing its blockbuster status across markets.
While weekday occupancy has naturally softened, Dhurandhar remains remarkably steady. Overall Monday (29) occupancy stood at just over 21 per cent, with evening shows peaking at nearly 27 per cent. Delhi NCR and Mumbai continued to deliver strong numbers despite heavy competition and a packed release calendar.
Even in its fourth week, the film added more than $2.4 million (₹20 crore) domestically—a rare achievement at this stage of a theatrical run. New releases such as Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri and Avatar: Ash and Fire have done little to dent its performance.
Directed by Aditya Dhar and produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, Dhurandhar boasts an ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi, and Sara Arjun. With Dhurandhar 2 already announced for March 19, 2026, the franchise’s dominance looks set to continue.
