Indian-American judge Arun Subramanian is currently in the spotlight as he presides over the high-profile trial involving rapper and music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs. Appointed to the federal bench by President Joe Biden in 2022, Subramanian is the first South Asian to serve on the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, one of the most influential federal courts in the nation.
