Hilary Duff is proving that nostalgia still has a powerful place in pop music. During a concert in London on Monday (19), the former Disney star delighted fans by performing one of the most beloved songs from her early career, “What Dreams Are Made Of.”
The 38-year-old singer took the stage at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire as part of her return to touring after a long break from music. The performance marked a special moment for longtime fans, as the song became iconic following its appearance in The Lizzie McGuire Movie in 2003. Duff starred in both the film and the hit Disney Channel series that launched her career.
The London show leaned heavily into fan-favorite memories. In addition to the Lizzie McGuire anthem, Duff also revisited her mid-2010s era by recreating the viral “With Love” dance from her 2011 appearance on the “Today” show. Acknowledging the meme status of the choreography, she invited fans onstage and danced with them, showing she can laugh along with her audience. The concert offered a preview of what fans can expect from Duff’s upcoming tour, her first in more than a decade. She is set to release a new album, “Luck… or something,” in February, marking a major return to music. The tour will take her to smaller, more intimate venues across the United States, blending new material with select throwbacks.
Duff will also celebrate the album with two sold-out Las Vegas residencies scheduled for Feb. 13–15 and May 22–24. The demand highlights strong interest in her comeback and the lasting appeal of her music across generations.

So far, Duff has released two singles from the album: “Roommates” and “Mature.” Both tracks reflect a more adult and confident sound, exploring complex relationships and emotional vulnerability far removed from her Disney-era image.
Adding to the excitement, Duff is also working on an untitled docuseries directed by Sam Wrench, known for “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour.” While details remain limited, the project is expected to give fans a deeper look at her return to music and life behind the scenes.
With nostalgia, growth, and new music all in play, Hilary Duff’s comeback is shaping up to be both heartfelt and refreshed.
