JLo delivers a show-stopping performance
Global pop icon Jennifer Lopez created a sensation in Udaipur as she performed at the wedding celebrations of Netra Mantena, daughter of Indian billionaire couple Padmaja and Rama Raju Mantena. The performance marked Lopez’s first stage appearance in India, and she closed the night with a high-voltage concert-style act that quickly became the highlight of the event.
Videos shared by attendees show Lopez commanding the stage with her signature choreography, powerful vocals, and elaborate production featuring props, dancers, and an international music crew.
Costume changes boost spectacle
While many expected the singer to arrive dressed in traditional Indian couture, Lopez surprised the audience by switching from an elegant pink saree she wore earlier in the day to a bold futuristic outfit for her performance. She paired a structured bodysuit with jackets and metallic detailing, setting a dazzling visual tone for the night.
During the show, she changed again into a golden sparkling look, followed by a final silver bodysuit layered with a glittering overcoat. Each transformation drew loud cheers from the crowd.
Hit tracks and electrifying energy
Lopez opened her act with her recent single Save Me Tonight, later shifting to her 2005 chart-topping track Get Right, turning the venue into a full-scale dance arena. She continued with fan favorites such as Waiting for Tonight, Play, and Get on the Floor, keeping the audience on their feet.
As she wrapped up, Lopez raised a champagne glass and toasted the couple, saying she wished blessings and unity for both families on their special day.
Glamour meets star power
The event was packed with celebrity performances from leading Bollywood stars, including Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, and Janhvi Kapoor, making it one of the year’s most glamorous celebrations.
Earlier in the day, Lopez turned heads on arrival in a pastel pink saree paired with an emerald and diamond necklace before heading to the airport with her team after the performance.
With viral moments flooding social platforms, the Udaipur wedding has quickly become the latest example of India’s rising trend of global superstars performing at luxury celebrations on home soil.
