Kajol’s take on marriage stirs conversation

Kajol triggered a fresh debate around marital expectations during a segment of Two Much with Twinkle and Kajol. Asked whether marriage should have an expiry date with the possibility of renewal, she agreed without hesitation. Twinkle Khanna, Vicky Kaushal, and Kriti Sanon remained on the opposing side of the discussion, but Kajol maintained that such a concept would prevent people from feeling trapped in relationships that no longer work.

She added that couples often enter marriage without knowing if it is the “right person at the right time,” and a renewal clause could bring clarity rather than prolonged unhappiness.

Ajay Devgn’s view: “love has become casual”

Around the same time, Ajay Devgn addressed how he believes the meaning of “love” has shifted across generations. Speaking with R Madhavan in a BookMyShow interview while promoting De De Pyaar De 2, he said the word is now used so freely that it has lost depth.

He noted that in his youth, saying “I love you” carried weight, whereas today it appears in everyday messages, often reduced to emojis and routine sign-offs. Madhavan echoed the sentiment, remarking that even signing a card with “love” required thought and sincerity decades ago.

A couple accustomed to public curiosity
