Rogue’s arrival headlines season 5.5 leak
Season 5 of Marvel Rivals, titled Love Is a Battlefield, runs from November 14 to January 16 and centers on a honeymoon-themed storyline featuring Gambit and Rogue. With Gambit already in play as a hybrid support and damage hero, attention now shifts to the upcoming mid-season update, set for December 12.
While NetEase has not released the full patch notes yet, new leaks point to what players can expect when Season 5.5 launches.
What Rogue’s kit might bring
A known Marvel Rivals leaker claims Rogue joins the roster as a Vanguard tank who draws strength from other heroes’ abilities, staying true to her power-stealing identity. Her Ultimate reportedly drains enemy Ultimate charge and adds extra effects. Early details place her Health at 675 and her Move Speed at 600.
New team-ups and Ultron rework
Season 5.5 is expected to add several team-up abilities, including:
- Psylocke with Cloak & Dagger
- Emma Frost with Luna Snow
- A three-hero combo for Gambit, Rogue, and Magneto
Ultron is also set for improvements, including a second drone and additional buffs.
Skins expected in the update
Leaks suggest a wide lineup of cosmetic additions:
- Capwolf skin for Captain America
- Iron Man’s Mark 1 suit
- Savage Land skin for Rogue
- Immortal Beast skins later in the season for Wolverine, Iron Fist, Angela, and Storm
- “Grandmaster’s Champions” set for Human Torch, Moon Knight, Angela, and Emma Frost
New Twitch drops featuring Iron Fist are also said to be part of the update.
Anniversary events continue
Alongside the leaked content, Marvel Rivals is already in its anniversary period, offering a Black Friday sale, special events, an 18v18 mode, and a new Psylocke mini-game that provides a limited-time Daring Daifuku bundle. The Marvel Zombies PvE mode remains available through January.
