Outage reports across regions
Downdetector records more than 31,200 reports in the United States as of 9:33 a.m. ET. In Canada, nearly 4,000 users report issues around the same time, while the United Kingdom logs over 10,300 app-related complaints.
The tracking site notes that outage figures rely on user submissions, meaning the total number of affected users may be higher.
Spotify responds
Spotify confirms awareness of the disruption in a post on X, saying it is checking the issue. The company does not immediately provide details on the cause or an estimated time for full restoration.
Spotify shares fall 2.4% in morning trading following reports of the service disruption.
