Braxton shares health scare on Instagram

Singer Tamar Braxton, 48, has revealed that she “almost died” following a serious and unexplained accident on Sunday.

In a candid Instagram post, Braxton said she was discovered by a friend “in a pool of blood” with a facial injury. She added that she sustained a fractured nose, lost several teeth, and was struggling with mobility.


“I don’t even know what happened to me,” she wrote, noting that the incident has given her a new outlook on life.

Calls for prayers and support

The Let Me Know singer told fans that while her physical health is improving, she is beginning a “mental journey” after the ordeal. “As my health is on the mend my mental journey begins… pray for me for real,” she wrote.

Earlier in the day, Braxton had shared another post with a black background that simply read: “Thank you God for waking me up today.” She added that she was finding it difficult to talk but wanted to share her story directly with her followers.
