A new twist in the horror-comedy universe
The trailer of Thamma, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna, has been released, adding a vampire tale to the successful universe that already includes Stree, Munjya, Bhediya and Stree 2. Blending romance, fear, and humor, the film aims to capture audiences during the festive season.
Trailer launch in Mumbai
The makers hosted a large launch event in Mumbai, branded as “Thammakedaar.” Shraddha Kapoor, the face of the Stree franchise, appeared at the event to support the new film. The trailer takes viewers into a chilling vampire world, setting the tone for a dark yet entertaining story.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui as Yakshasan
Nawazuddin Siddiqui plays Yakshasan, the central villain and a terrifying vampire. His role appears to anchor the horror element of the film, with early glimpses showing his commanding screen presence.
Ayushmann and Rashmika explore new territory
For Ayushmann Khurrana, Thamma marks his first venture into horror. His character is seen standing against supernatural evil while navigating an intense love story. Rashmika Mandanna, known for her romantic and dramatic performances, shifts gears to explore a darker, more suspenseful role.
