 Pixar has released the first teaser for Toy Story 5, giving fans a glimpse into a new chapter that explores how the beloved toys cope in a digital age where screens have replaced imagination.
The trailer introduces Lilypad, a frog-shaped smart tablet voiced by Greta Lee, who brings a playful but unsettling energy to the role. In the clip, Bonnie the toys’ caretaker receives a mysterious package. As she opens it, the toys look on in dread. Mrs. Potato Head even removes her eyes in horror as Lilypad powers on.

Familiar voices and new facesThe returning voice cast includes Tom Hanks as Woody, Tim Allen as Buzz Lightyear, Joan Cusack as Jessie, and Tony Hale as Forky. Joining them is Conan O’Brien, who voices a quirky, toilet-training gadget named Smarty Pants.
Directors Andrew Stanton (WALL-E, Finding Nemo) and Kenna Harris promise a story that blends humor with reflection. “It’s been a hilarious and poignant journey exploring how our favorite toys respond to today’s world of technology,” they said in a statement. “Having Greta Lee bring Lilypad to life balancing humor, heart, and a hint of menace has been incredible.”
