This rare accomplishment highlighted the song’s extraordinary reach and commercial impact, especially following its explosive popularity in India after the release of Dhurandhar.
Reacting to the honor, Flipperachi shared a video expressing disbelief and pride at being recognized by Guinness World Records. He said he never expected an Arabic rap song to connect so strongly with Hindi-speaking audiences. According to the rapper, “Fa9la” topped four major charts simultaneously, underscoring its wide cross-cultural appeal. In the now-viral clip, Flipperachi is seen during a photoshoot when he is informed of the achievement, capturing his genuine and emotional reaction.
“Fa9la” quickly became a social media phenomenon after the film’s release. In Dhurandhar, the track plays during the dramatic introduction of Akshaye Khanna’s character, Rehman Dakait. Khanna’s impromptu dance sequence in the scene sparked a viral trend, with fans recreating the moment across Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts, further boosting the song’s visibility and popularity.
Born Hussam Aseem, Flipperachi has been a key figure in the Arab hip-hop scene for more than two decades.
