Bollywood bids farewell to Zarine Khan

Zarine Khan, wife of veteran actor Sanjay Khan and mother of Sussanne and Zayed Khan, passed away on Friday in Mumbai at the age of 81. According to reports, she had been battling age-related health issues for some time.

Following the news of her death, several Bollywood celebrities arrived at the Khan residence to offer condolences to the grieving family.


Stars gather to offer condolences

Hrithik Roshan, Sussanne Khan’s former husband, was seen leaving the residence after paying his respects, visibly emotional as he stood by Sussanne during the difficult time. Bobby Deol was also photographed arriving, covering his face from the media as he entered.

Veteran actors Jaya Bachchan and her daughter Shweta Bachchan were among the early visitors. Rani Mukerji, Saba Azad, and Hrithik’s cousin Pashmina Roshan were also spotted arriving to pay their last respects.

Jackie Shroff, who also attended the funeral, was seen asking photographers to maintain respect and avoid crowding the entrance.

Several other film personalities, including Shabana Azmi, Neelam Kothari, Rakul Preet Singh, and Jackky Bhagnani, visited the Khan residence to offer support to the family.

She married Sanjay Khan in 1966, and together they had four children, Sussanne, Zayed, Simone, and Farah.

Her passing marks the end of an era for one of Bollywood’s most prominent film families, leaving behind a legacy remembered for its warmth, creativity, and resilience.
