The appointment is effective immediately and reflects the company’s continued focus on building trusted, high-quality technology for classrooms.

Dubey brings more than 20 years of experience in software engineering, cloud platforms, and artificial intelligence. Before joining Imagine Learning, he served as Global Head of Platform Engineering at Honeywell, where he led large technology teams and built secure, reliable systems used around the world. Earlier in his career, he also worked on digital education platforms used in both K–12 schools and higher education.

In his new role, Dubey will lead Imagine Learning’s full technology strategy. This includes overseeing software engineering, cloud systems, artificial intelligence, and day-to-day technology operations. A key part of his mission will be advancing the company’s Curriculum-Informed AI™ approach. This strategy ensures that artificial intelligence supports learning goals, follows proven curriculum standards, and earns the trust of educators.

“As we shape the future of learning technology, we need leaders who understand both large-scale systems and real classroom needs,” said Leslie Curtis, Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of Imagine Learning. “Anjeneya has a strong background in building dependable platforms and using data and AI in meaningful ways. He is the right leader to help us grow.”

Dubey is known for building software platforms that serve millions of users. He has managed cloud systems across major providers such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. He has also led teams of more than 400 engineers across multiple regions and holds several patents related to cloud system design.

“I’m excited to join Imagine Learning at an important time,” Dubey said. “This is an opportunity to use AI in a responsible way that truly supports learning. Our focus will be on helping teachers, personalizing learning for students, and making technology more useful—not just more automated.”

One of Dubey’s priorities will be improving how curriculum data flows through Imagine Learning’s platforms. This will help educators get clearer insights faster and make better instructional decisions. He will also work on improving system reliability and performance as the company continues to support more than 18 million students nationwide.

The appointment reflects a growing trend in education companies bringing in leaders from cloud and AI-driven industries. For Imagine Learning, it signals a strong commitment to combining instructional quality with modern technology.
