Trailer teases heartbreak and unexpected romance
The trailer for Dude, the upcoming Tamil film starring Pradeep Ranganathan and Mamitha Baiju, dropped on Thursday, October 9. Written and directed by debutant Keerthiswaran, the film is set to hit theaters on October 17, coinciding with Diwali celebrations.
The trailer offers glimpses into Pradeep’s character, an angry young man grappling with heartbreak. One striking sequence shows him interrupting the wedding of his ex-girlfriend. As the story unfolds, his bond with his best friend, played by Mamitha Baiju, evolves into a romantic connection. Despite these hints, the trailer and promotional materials appear to keep key plot elements under wraps.
