Indian-American executive Mamatha Chamarthi, who served as Senior Vice President and Chief Digital Officer at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, has come under scrutiny after viral online posts accused her of fraud and kickbacks connected to her third-party organization, T200, and consulting giant Accenture.

The controversy erupted when Chamarthi's Goodyear leadership profile vanished from the company's official website. Clicking the old link now leads to a 'page not found' error, fueling speculation that she may have been quietly dismissed.

The uproar began after a viral X post by user @WokeCapital, who alleged that Chamarthi was involved in 'baldfaced fraud' while overseeing outsourcing contracts to India, with Accenture among the bidders.

The claims, originating from a Reddit post, accused Accenture of making a 'generous donation' to T200 shortly after hosting its SOAR 2025 conference in Chicago, which featured both Accenture CEO Julie Sweet and Goodyear CEO Mark Stewart as speakers.

Critics questioned why T200, a nonprofit promoting women in tech leadership, employed over 60 staff despite serving a small network of executives. Some former colleagues alleged that Chamarthi had previously outsourced large IT operations while at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, costing hundreds of US jobs.

While Goodyear has not issued an official statement, Chamarthi’s removal from its website and the privatization of T200’s event posts have added to the intrigue. A former educator from Hyderabad with a global automotive career, Chamarthi now faces serious reputational challenges amid growing online speculation about her status at Goodyear.
