The presence of Indian companies and startups continues to expand at CES, the world’s largest technology showcase, reflecting India’s growing role in global innovation, according to a top CES executive.

Speaking at a press conference in Las Vegas, CES Vice President and Show Director John Kelley said participation from India has increased steadily over the years and is expected to grow further. “The Indian presence continues to grow at CES. I think you're starting to see more and more Indian startups show up and participate at CES. And of course, we welcome broad Indian participation in the years to come,” Kelley said in response to a question from PTI.

Kelley highlighted Bengaluru-based wearables and health technology company Ultrahuman as one of the Indian firms drawing attention at this year’s event. “We're really excited to welcome to the show this year,” he said. Ultrahuman’s portfolio includes the world’s lightest sleep-tracking wearable, a continuous glucose monitoring platform, and a preventive blood testing solution.

CES 2026 is seeing participation from approximately 150 countries, Kelley noted, with around 40 percent of attendees and exhibitors coming from outside the United States. The event, produced by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), runs through January 9 and brings together global corporations, startups, policymakers, and industry leaders to showcase technologies aimed at solving real-world challenges.

This year’s edition features more than 4,100 exhibitors presenting innovations across artificial intelligence, digital health, accessibility, energy, mobility, robotics, quantum technologies, immersive entertainment, and enterprise solutions. CTA said CES spans every aspect of the technology sector and represents innovators ranging from early-stage startups to global brands, collectively supporting more than 18 million American jobs.

CTA Executive Chair and CEO Gary Shapiro said CES 2026 includes over 4,000 exhibitors, more than 1,300 speakers, and upwards of 400 sessions. “CES is where innovators show up, business accelerates, partnerships ignite, and technology transforms real-world challenges into bold opportunities,” Shapiro said. “We're thrilled to see global innovators show up and unveil the breakthroughs that will shape the future.”

According to the CES website, several Indian companies and trade organizations are participating this year, including AI-driven MedTech firm aabo, Bhopal-based pseudo-reality startup ArvyaX Technologies, the CMAI Association of India, smartwatch brand Noise, automotive technology company Sona Comstar, and global technology partner Zoondia.

Noise Vice President for Product Devices Hamish Patel told PTI the company was proud to compete globally. “We're actually very proud to come here and compete on a world stage… We truly have products that can compete here with the best,” he said. Noise is currently the world’s third-largest smartwatch brand.

ArvyaX Technologies is showcasing at Eureka Park, CES’s platform for emerging startups. Founder and CEO Shalabh Bhatnagar said, “It is a very big moment because we are not just representing our company at CES but we feel we are representing India in the world.”
