The much-anticipated collaboration between director SS Rajamouli and actor Mahesh Babu has taken a step forward with the reveal of a teaser hashtag, #GlobeTrotter. Announced on the actor’s birthday, the glimpse has sparked speculation about whether it marks the film’s title or is part of its promotional campaign, with a full reveal confirmed for November 2025.

Mahesh Babu’s birthday teaser

On Saturday morning, coinciding with Mahesh Babu’s birthday, both the actor and Rajamouli shared identical Instagram posts. The image featured a close-up of Mahesh Babu’s chest, where he appears to be wearing a low-cut vest stained with blood. Around his neck hangs a pendant depicting Lord Shiva’s trishul and the sacred ox, Nandi.

In his caption, Mahesh Babu thanked fans for their birthday wishes, adding:

“I am eagerly waiting, as you all are, for November 2025 to enjoy the reveal with all of you. #GlobeTrotter”

Rajamouli also used the same hashtag in his post.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Rajamouli addressed cinema lovers and Mahesh Babu fans, noting the scale of the project:

“The story and scope of this film are so vast that I feel mere pictures or press conferences cannot do it justice. We are currently working on something to showcase the essence, depth, and immersive world we are creating. This will be unveiled in November 2025, and we are trying to make it a never-before-seen reveal.”

He also expressed gratitude for the audience’s patience since filming began.

While no further details were released, speculation about the cast continues. Priyanka Chopra, rumoured to be part of the project, has not commented or shared the teaser. Prithviraj Sukumaran has confirmed his involvement but did not post about the reveal.
