- An influencer claims Kiara Advani behaved rudely during a flight seat mix-up
- The incident allegedly occurred on a Jaipur–Mumbai flight
- No direct exchange took place between the influencer and the actor
- Social media users remain divided over the claim
What the influencer alleged
An online debate erupted after influencer Kartikey Tiwari shared a video alleging that actor Kiara Advani was rude to his mother during a flight journey. In the Instagram video, Tiwari described an encounter he says took place while he was traveling from Jaipur to Mumbai with his mother and brother.
According to him, Kiara Advani and her Satyaprem Ki Katha co-star Kartik Aaryan were also passengers on the same flight. While he clarified that there was no direct interaction between him and the actors, he claimed the incident left a lasting impression.
The seat mix-up on board
Tiwari said his family was seated in business class, where the situation reportedly began with a brief seating confusion. His mother, he claimed, mistakenly sat in Advani’s assigned seat.
Recalling the moment, he said that addressing a seat mix-up verbally would have been normal and acceptable, especially since all passengers involved were in the same class. However, he alleged that Advani reacted with what he described as an unpleasant expression.
He claimed the actor gave his mother a “nasty look” but did not say anything. According to him, an air hostess soon intervened and guided his mother to the correct seat, which she followed without protest.
Criticism of celebrity worship culture
Beyond the incident itself, Tiwari used the video to question India’s celebrity worship culture. He said the experience reinforced his belief that public admiration for actors is often misplaced.
In the video, he argued that fans assume celebrities care about them, while in reality, he claimed, they may remain indifferent outside public appearances.
Social media reacts
The video quickly gained traction online, drawing mixed reactions from users. Some commenters echoed the influencer’s claim, with a few sharing similar personal experiences involving celebrities.
Others defended Advani, arguing that reacting negatively to a seat error during a flight was understandable. Several users pointed out that frustration in such situations does not necessarily equate to rudeness and emphasized that respect works both ways.
As the discussion spread, social media remained divided, with no response or clarification from Kiara Advani at the time of publication.
