Case registered after viral videos

Hyderabad police file a case against the management of Lulu Mall and the organizers of a promotional event for The Raja Saab after actor Nidhhi Agerwal is pushed and shoved by a large crowd. The incident occurs during the launch of the song Sahana Sahana at the mall on Wednesday evening.

Videos from the event circulate widely on social media, showing the actor surrounded by fans attempting to take selfies and touch her, prompting public outrage.

Police cite lack of permission

According to police officials, the case is registered on Thursday after it emerges that the event was conducted without prior approval. An official from the KPHB police station tells PTI that inviting a celebrity and organizing a public gathering without permission led to the action against both the mall management and the event organizers.

The crowd swells rapidly, and the situation turns chaotic as fans gather in large numbers well before the event begins.

What unfolds at the event

The song launch is scheduled for 5 p.m., but the program is delayed by several hours. Early footage from the venue shows a massive crowd already packed inside the mall.

Viral clips capture Nidhhi Agerwal appearing visibly distressed as her team and security personnel attempt to shield her from the crowd. Some attendees are seen trying to get close for selfies, while others reach out toward her before she is escorted to her car.

The actor has not issued a statement regarding the incident.

Other attendees

Several members of The Raja Saab team attend the event, including actors Prabhas and Riddhi Kumar, director Maruthi, producer TG Vishwa Prasad, and music composer Thaman.
