Film producer Suneel Darshan recently opened up about advising Priyanka Chopra to alter the bridge of her nose before she began shooting for her debut film, Andaaz (2003). In a candid conversation with Minutes of Masala, Darshan recalled his initial impressions of Chopra, admitting he wasn’t immediately taken by her looks. “Before I did Andaaz, I did tell her that she should do something about the bridge of her nose,” he shared. Darshan noted that Priyanka was receptive to the suggestion, and her parents—both doctors—arranged for the procedure without delay.

Priyanka Chopra has since confirmed that she underwent surgery for a sinus issue, which she believed would be a routine procedure.
