Actor Ram Charan and entrepreneur Upasana Konidela have introduced the world to their newborn twins, sharing both their names and the deeply personal meanings behind them. The couple welcomed a baby boy and girl on January 31 and recently hosted an intimate naming ceremony at their home in Hyderabad.

The proud parents revealed that their son has been named Shivram, while their daughter is called Anveera Devi. Speaking about the decision, Ram described the process as spiritual and meaningful, with both sets of parents closely involved.

“Naming them was a deeply personal and spiritual decision for both of us,” Ram shared. “In our culture, elders bring wisdom and blessings, so having our parents guide us meant a great deal.”

He explained that Shivram combines two revered ideals, Lord Shiva and Lord Rama, symbolizing strength balanced with restraint and devotion guided by righteousness. The name also honors Ram’s father, whose birth name was Shiv Shankar Vara Prasad, weaving family lineage and gratitude into the choice.

Their daughter’s name, Anveera Devi, reflects courage and divine feminine strength. “Veera” signifies bravery, while “An” expands that meaning into something limitless. The addition of “Devi” was intentional, underscoring the belief that grace and strength can coexist. For the couple, these names are more than identifiers, they represent hopes and aspirations for their children’s lives.

Upasana also opened up about experiencing motherhood for the second time. Having previously welcomed their daughter Klin Kaara in June 2023, she said this phase feels calmer and more grounded.

“The first time, everything is beautiful but overwhelming. This time, I feel more relaxed and conscious,” she said. “Stability, routine, and unconditional love are what the little ones need.”

She described managing twins as magical and fulfilling, especially seeing all three of her children together. Upasana added that Ram has been especially hands-on, including with their older daughter.

Expressing gratitude, Ram said being blessed with three children fills him with thankfulness toward fans and loved ones. Upasana echoed that sentiment, sharing that they hope to raise children who are strong yet compassionate, and who understand that privilege carries responsibility and true legacy lies in giving back.
