Actor Tamannaah Bhatia, who completed two decades in the film industry in 2025, recently revealed the reason behind her early morning routine — waking up at 4:30 am — during an interview on The Right Angle with Sonal Kalra. A 24-hour day isn't enough
Tamannaah explained, “I am going through this phase where I actually wish there were 36 hours in the day and it’s only 24.” She uses those early hours for self-care and creativity, saying it helps set the tone of her day. Her workdays often stretch long due to teams based in the UK, requiring her to adjust her schedule and accommodate late evening calls. Despite this demanding routine, she aims to get eight hours of restful sleep daily to recharge.
Fitness regimen: Discipline and consistency are key
Tamannaah’s fitness mantra revolves around consistency, discipline, and enjoying her workouts. Her routine involves an hour or more of gym workouts focusing on strength training, cardio, Pilates, yoga, and swimming. She regularly incorporates squats, sprints, dumbbell thrusters, and functional dance-based workouts to stay toned and agile. She maintains this rigorous schedule under the guidance of her long-time fitness coach.
She shared, “There’s no other way to do it. Diet, of course, needs to be controlled, but you can’t substitute anything for workouts. You have to train and I enjoy it.” Tamannaah wakes up early around 4:00 or 4:30 am for training, especially three days a week, balancing intense workout sessions with her demanding acting projects.
