        Tata Motors global sales increase by 2% in June quarter
    Global wholesales of passenger vehicles fell by 1 per cent year-on-year to 1,38,682 units in the first quarter, according to a statement from Tata Motors.

TATA MOTORS reported a two per cent increase in total global sales, reaching 3,29,847 units in the June quarter.
In the April-June quarter of FY24, the company had sold 322,159 units.
Global wholesales of passenger vehicles fell by one per cent year-on-year to 138,682 units in the first quarter, according to a statement from Tata Motors.
Jaguar Land Rover dispatches reached 97,755 units in the April-June quarter, showing a 5 per cent growth over the same period last fiscal.
Global wholesales of all Tata Motors commercial vehicles and the Tata Daewoo range in Q1 FY25 were 93,410 units, marking a 6 per cent increase over Q1 of FY24.

THE recently concluded summit in India on AI has widened glob­al discussions on artificial intel­ligence, bringing more coun­tries into conversations that were earlier led by a few, Aalok Mehta, director of the Wadhwani AI Center at the Center for Stra­tegic and International Studies (CSIS), said.
Held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi from February 16 to 21, the conference brought together politicians, industry leaders, ex­perts and policymakers to discuss the governance and deployment of AI. ED attaches Ambani’s Pali Hill residence worth $446 million under PMLA.
 Earlier properties worth $57 million were also attached in the ongoing probe.
 Alleged scheme involved transferring property to RiseE Trust to hide involvement.
 Loans to RCOM and affiliates totaled $482 billion INR (~$5.8 billion USD) and turned non-performing.
 Anil Ambani or RCOM have not issued an official response yet.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has provisionally seized Anil Ambani’s Mumbai residence, Abode, located in the prestigious Pali Hill area, valuing the property at ₹3,716.83 crore (~$446 million). This latest action comes under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), adding to prior attachments of Ambani’s properties worth ₹473.17 crore (~$57 million USD).
The ED move is part of a larger investigation initiated after a CBI FIR under sections 120-B, 406, and 420 of the Indian Penal Code, along with relevant provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, targeting Reliance Communications Ltd (RCOM), Anil Ambani, and other associated individuals.
