First look at Marty Supreme
The first poster for Marty Supreme, directed by Josh Safdie and starring Timothée Chalamet, has been released. Produced by A24, the film has largely remained under wraps until now.
The poster offers the first glimpse of Chalamet as lead character Marty Mauser. A trailer is set to arrive tomorrow, giving audiences a fuller sense of the film’s story and tone.
A mix of sport, comedy and adventure
Marty Supreme is described as a sports adventure comedy-drama and marks Safdie’s return to directing after his 2019 feature Uncut Gems. Safdie co-wrote the screenplay with frequent collaborator Ronald Bronstein, with Chalamet also serving as a co-producer.
An eclectic ensemble cast
Alongside Chalamet, the cast features Gwyneth Paltrow, Tyler, the Creator, Fran Drescher, and Kevin O’Leary of Shark Tank. Drescher plays Mrs Mauser, Marty’s mother. Other cast members include Sandra Bernhard, Odessa A’zion, magician Penn Jillette, and French high-wire artist Philippe Petit.
Release details
Marty Supreme is scheduled for release in cinemas in the United States and Canada on Christmas Day 2025. UK release information has yet to be announced.
With its combination of high-profile names, offbeat genre mix, and Safdie’s signature energetic style, the film is already generating strong anticipation ahead of tomorrow’s trailer reveal.
