A sudden halt in Glasgow

Filming for Spider-Man: Brand New Day has been temporarily suspended after Tom Holland sustained a concussion on set. The 29-year-old actor was injured during a stunt sequence in Glasgow and taken by ambulance to hospital on September 19. He was released later that day but advised to rest.

Production, which began in early August and was due to shift between Scotland, London, and Pinewood Studios, has now paused “out of precaution.”

Family confirms time off

The accident was first reported by The Sun and later confirmed by Deadline and Variety. Holland’s father, Dominic, told guests at a charity event on September 20 that his son would be out of filming “for a while.” Holland attended the event with fiancée Zendaya but left early after feeling unwell.
