Mahesh Babu joins Rajamouli, Jr NTR, Ram Charan at ‘RRR’ live screening in London

The Royal Albert Hall is set for a historic cinematic evening as India’s beloved action epic RRR is celebrated with a live orchestra, marking a rare reunion of its iconic stars and director in the UK.

The London screening is part of an ongoing international celebration of the film’s success, following its record-breaking run and global acclaim. The event begins at 6 p.m. local time (10:30 p.m. IST) and promises to bring a grand cinematic and musical spectacle to audiences.

The magic of RRR returned to the spotlight as Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu joined director SS Rajamouli and lead actors Jr NTR and Ram Charan for a grand event at the Royal Albert Hall in London on May 11. The evening featured a screening of the globally acclaimed film accompanied by a live orchestral performance, captivating audiences with cinematic nostalgia and musical brilliance.

This highly anticipated reunion marked the first time the core team of RRR—Rajamouli, Jr NTR, and Ram Charan—shared the stage since the film’s release three years ago. The event took on even greater significance with Mahesh Babu’s presence, building excitement around his collaboration with Rajamouli in the upcoming project SSMB 29.

Fans had been buzzing on social media days ahead of the event, especially after spotting Mahesh Babu flying to London. At the venue, Oscar-winning composer MM Keeravaani conducted the iconic RRR score live, supported by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra. The audience was treated to an immersive cinematic concert experience, celebrating the film’s powerful music and legacy.

Following the screening, Ram Charan and Jr NTR engaged in interactive Q&A sessions, offering insights into the making of the film and sharing untold stories about their characters. While Mahesh Babu’s role was not officially confirmed in advance, he was spotted interacting with fans and is said to have participated in a pre-show discussion.

The official RRR team promoted the event with a message: “LONDON…here we come! Relive the soul of #RRRMovie like never before with a scintillating live orchestral performance by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.”

RRR had earlier made history by becoming the first Indian film to win an Oscar for Best Original Song with “Naatu Naatu,” and also earned accolades at the Golden Globes and other international platforms.

Meanwhile, SSMB 29, featuring Mahesh Babu, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and reportedly Priyanka Chopra, had begun shooting in Hyderabad and Odisha, though its official announcement remains pending.
