In recent weeks, fans speculated that Aishwarya might skip Cannes this year, especially after videos surfaced of her and husband Abhishek Bachchan dancing at a Mumbai wedding.
However, the new footage has dispelled all doubts and confirmed that Aishwarya will, once again, grace the red carpet — a moment that fans around the world eagerly await each year.
Reactions on social media ranged from “She is back” to “The Queen has arrived.” For many, Aishwarya’s Cannes appearances are not just about fashion or films — they are moments of celebration, pride, and nostalgia. Over the years, her red carpet presence has become one of the most anticipated highlights of the festival, thanks to her stunning looks, poise, and dedication to representing Indian cinema on the global stage.
What adds an extra layer of interest is Aaradhya’s continued presence beside her mother. In a previous interview with Film Companion, Aishwarya shared insights into how the Cannes experience has become a familiar and cherished tradition for both of them.
“It’s really about just being together,” Aishwarya had said. “It’s familiar to her, she knows everybody here. It’s about reuniting with friends, coming back here to Cannes.”
She further added, “She is a lot like me in that sense — we are people’s people. She loves the vibe. I am sure she gets the fact that this is really a film festival. It is about the world of cinema. It’s wonderful to see in our kids that there is respect and recognition of this amazing work of cinema.”
With Aishwarya’s arrival now confirmed, all eyes are on the Cannes 2025 red carpet, where the original Cannes queen is expected to dazzle once again.
