According to an India Today report, Allu Arjun is undergoing a full-fledged transformation under the direction of Atlee, who has crafted a unique character that demands both physical and psychological evolution.
A close source revealed, “Allu takes his preparations very seriously. Lloyd and his team are working on a specialized transformation program that targets bulking, agility, strength, and a certain rawness required for the role.”
Announced on Allu Arjun’s birthday, AA22xA6 marks the 22nd film in his career and is expected to hit theaters in late 2026. Fans have high expectations from this collaboration, as Atlee is known for delivering mass entertainers like Jawan and Bigil.
In a recent interview with News9, Allu Arjun confirmed the collaboration and gave a few insights into the film. “Yes, it’s my twenty-second film, and it’s with Atlee garu. We’ve collaborated on it. I like the concept he told me, and I like his goals; they were similar to mine on many levels. We aim to present a fresh visual spectacle to Indian cinema,” he said.
Describing the project further, Allu added that it’s an “international presentation film with total Indian sensibilities.” That mix of global appeal and cultural depth has fans and film analysts alike curious about what the dynamic duo will bring to the screen.
Allu Arjun was last seen in Pushpa 2: The Rule, which released in December 2024. Directed by Sukumar and co-starring Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil, the film shattered box office records with a whopping global gross of ₹1,742 crore. The actor is also set to return in Pushpa 3: The Rampage.
