Demi Lovato and singer-songwriter Jordan “Jutes” Lutes are officially married. The couple, who met while collaborating on Lovato’s 2022 album Holy Fvck, exchanged vows this weekend in California. Their love story began in the studio and culminated in a heartfelt ceremony around 4 p.m. on Sunday, surrounded by close family and friends.

The bride stunned in a custom Vivienne Westwood wedding dress, a pearl white creation in heavy silk satin featuring a corset bodice that perfectly complimented Demi’s figure. “I have been a fan of Vivienne Westwood’s designs for a long time,” Demi told Vogue, citing the designer’s silhouettes and use of corsetry as major influences. The entire process took place over five fittings in Los Angeles, with the Westwood couture team traveling from London to work closely with Demi and her stylist Jill Jacobs.

The vision for the dress began with an image Demi found online—a classic Westwood look with distinctive draping and structure. From there, the design was tailored to match her unique preferences. The final gown featured a romantic off-shoulder neckline, cinched waist, and intricately draped detailing on the front. The silhouette was inspired by both 18th-century high society and the fluid shapes of ancient Greek statues, blending timeless elegance with modern femininity.

To complete her look, Demi wore a custom cathedral-length veil made from ivory tulle. Every element of her wedding outfit was the result of hands-on collaboration. From choosing the corset cut to adjusting skirt proportions, Demi was deeply involved in every design decision. “We were able to add touches that really make this dress so special to me,” she said.

Following the ceremony, Demi changed into a second gown for the reception—a sleek ivory silk satin column dress, also by Vivienne Westwood. Called “The Audrey,” this piece featured a draped corset top and broken pearl strands cascading from the neckline, adding a glamorous touch reminiscent of the golden age of cinema. “There was so much attention to detail on the reception dress beading,” Demi shared, noting that each pearl strand was hand-attached, making the look truly one-of-a-kind.

Jordan Lutes matched the bride’s elegance in a Saint Laurent suit, paired with jewelry by David Yurman and Spinelli Kilcollin. The night before the big day, the couple hosted a rehearsal dinner for their bridal party, guided by celebrity event planner Mindy Weiss. Weiss directed the wedding party through the ceremony run-through before everyone gathered for an intimate meal to prepare for the following day’s main event.

From the couture dress fittings to the intimate celebrations, every aspect of Demi and Jordan’s wedding was steeped in personal meaning, creativity, and style. The ceremony not only marked the beginning of their married life but also showcased Demi’s fashion-forward spirit and love for high-concept design. As of Sunday evening, the newlyweds are celebrating their union with an unforgettable night of love, music, and joy.
