Alia Bhatt created a major buzz at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival after being spotted with Formula 1 stars Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz Jr..
The Bollywood actor attended Cannes as a global ambassador for L’Oréal Paris. While her fashion choices impressed fans, it was her crossover moments with Formula 1 drivers that quickly became one of the biggest online talking points from the festival.
Alia was first seen with Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz at a Cannes event along with several celebrities and fashion personalities. Photos and clips from the event quickly spread across social media, leaving both Bollywood and Formula 1 fans excited.
Later, on Friday, L’Oréal Paris shared a reel on Instagram that made the crossover even more popular online. In the video, Carlos Sainz is seen calling Alia Bhatt before Charles Leclerc appears and asks whether they are ready.

The look also included a lace choker with a diamond pendant. Styled by Rhea Kapoor, Alia kept her makeup soft with glowing skin, nude tones, and a loose updo hairstyle.
Earlier at the Cannes opening ceremony, she wore a blush peach couture outfit designed by Tamara Ralph. Fans compared the flowing chiffon scarf attached to the outfit to a modern version of a traditional Indian dupatta.
Alia also appeared at the Bharat Pavilion in an outfit by Tarun Tahiliani. She completed the look with a lace parasol and a rhinestone bindi.
The Cannes appearance comes during a busy time in Alia Bhatt’s career. She will star in Alpha alongside Sharvari. The film is the first female-led project in the YRF Spy Universe.
Alia will also reunite with Ranbir Kapoor in Love & War, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and also starring Vicky Kaushal. The movie is scheduled for release on January 21, 2027.
