Actor Brad Pitt’s Los Angeles home was ransacked by burglars late Wednesday night (25) while the star was out of the country promoting his new film, F1. The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. at Pitt’s property in the upscale Los Feliz neighborhood, specifically on North Edgemont Street. According to law enforcement sources, at least three suspects scaled the security fence and broke in through a front window before ransacking the house and fleeing with an undisclosed amount of property.
Pitt Abroad During Incident
Pitt, who purchased the home for $5.5 million in April 2023, was not present during the break-in. He was in London earlier in the week for the premiere of F1, accompanied by Tom Cruise and Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton. Pitt’s representatives have declined to comment on the incident, and the actor himself has not issued a public statement.
Details of the Burglary
Police responded to the burglary call after the suspects had already left the scene. The intruders reportedly made a “real mess,” overturning possessions as they searched for valuables. The exact nature and value of the stolen items have not been disclosed by authorities, and the suspects remain unidentified. The home, a spacious three-bedroom property just outside Griffith Park and shielded by a large fence and greenery, provided some privacy but was ultimately breached by the thieves.

In recent months, the homes of actress Nicole Kidman and musician Keith Urban, as well as footballer Olivier Giroud, have also been targeted by burglars. Law enforcement officials have not confirmed whether these incidents are linked to organized burglary gangs that have been active in elite neighborhoods across the region.

The Los Angeles Police Department continues to investigate the burglary at Pitt’s residence.
