PUNJABI actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh said he made a "fantastic start to 2025" by meeting prime minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday.
Dosanjh shared some pictures of his meeting with the prime minister on the social media platform X and claimed they talked about music and a lot of other things.
Modi also took to X and shared his experience of meeting with the actor-singer.
“A great interaction with Diljit Dosanjh! He’s truly multifaceted, blending talent and tradition. We connected over music, culture and more,” he posted.
These posts created a flutter on the social media platform with many labelling Dosanjh, known for his pro-farmer views and anti-establishment stand, as the latest sellout.
Few others wondered whether Modi's supporters would now stop calling Dosanjh a 'Khalistani'.
Dosanjh brought his “Dil-Luminati India Tour” to a close in Ludhiana on New Year’s Eve.
The finale marked the end of a two-month tour that began in New Delhi on October 26 and included stops in Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Guwahati.
Interestingly, Dosanjh had dedicated his Guwahati concert to late prime minister Manmohan Singh, whom he lauded for his simplicity.
