Bengaluru to kick off Flipperachi’s India tour

Flipperachi, the Bahraini rapper whose track ‘FA9LA’ featured in Aditya Dhar’s film Dhurandhar, is heading to India for live performances.

The song went viral after Akshaye Khanna’s character Rehman Dakait was seen dancing to it in the film. Following its popularity, Flipperachi shared an Instagram post announcing his India tour.

His first show will be in Bengaluru on March 14, 2026. In his post, he wrote: “First India show date announced! We’re excited to be in Bengaluru on March 14 at @un40fam! More dates to be added soon. Which city should we stop in? Drop your city in the comments!”

He also confirmed that more cities will be announced soon, prompting fans to flood the comments with requests.

How ‘fa9la’ took over social media

The music of Dhurandhar found a wide audience, with ‘FA9LA’ emerging as one of its most shared tracks.

The song’s beats, along with Akshaye Khanna’s relaxed dance steps in the film, helped it spread quickly across social platforms.

Flipperachi later spoke about the response from India in an interview with the Indian Express, saying, “It’s an amazing achievement. I’m super proud of all the work the team and I have put in over the years to reach this stage, and I’m overwhelmed by all the love I’ve been receiving from India.”

Timing tied closely to Dhurandhar sequel

Flipperachi’s first India show will take place just five days before the release of Dhurandhar 2, which is scheduled to hit theaters on March 19, 2026.

The timing is expected to add to the buzz around the sequel.
