Elliot experiences first holiday with grandpa
This Thanksgiving is special for Hailie Jade Scott and her family. The 29-year-old, host of the Just a Little Shady podcast and daughter of Eminem, shares a video of her son, Elliot Marshall McClintock, watching his grandfather perform live. The Detroit Lions faced the Green Bay Packers in Detroit on Nov. 27, where Eminem and Jack White performed during halftime.
In the Instagram clip, Elliot wears protective headphones and bops along to the music. Hailie appears to mouth “Grandpa” as her son watches in awe. She captions the post, “happy thanksgiving 💕,” and also shares a family photo with her husband Evan McClintock and Elliot in matching Detroit Lions gear.
Parenthood milestones for Hailie and Evan
Hailie and Evan welcomed Elliot in March 2025. The couple, who met at Michigan State University in 2016, got engaged in February 2023 and married in May 2024. Hailie first revealed her pregnancy in her father’s music video for the song Temporary released in October 2024.
She has shared glimpses of parenthood on social media, including reflections on Evan’s first Father’s Day: “Watching you become a father has been the most beautiful experience. These first 3 months have been full of love, late nights, and learning together, and I truly can’t imagine doing any of it without you.”
Balancing privacy and public life
Speaking to People in June, Hailie discussed the challenges of raising Elliot in the spotlight, noting lessons learned from her own father: “Having been in the spotlight for so long, I’ve learned the importance of balancing what I share publicly with what I keep private. Over time, I’ve come to understand the struggle my father faced, wanting to protect our privacy while also feeling proud and wanting to celebrate his kids.”
A source confirms that Elliot is growing curious and exploring new milestones. “Elliot just hit that really exciting stage where he’s curious about everything. He’s reaching for things and trying to move around on his own. It’s adorable to watch him explore, and Hailie is soaking up every moment.”
