Priyanka emphasized that she is still in the early stages of her career in Hollywood, despite a decade in the industry. She expressed a desire to take on more diverse and challenging roles similar to those that established her as one of Bollywood’s top stars. After winning Miss World 2000 at age 18, she debuted in films in 2003 and quickly rose to fame with hits like Andaz, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Aitraaz, and the National Award, winning Fashion. By the 2010s, she had become one of India’s leading female actors before transitioning to global projects in 2016.

Return to Indian cinema in 2027

Priyanka is set for a major Bollywood comeback in 2027 with SS Rajamouli’s Varanasi, co-starring Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
