The wedding is reportedly being planned for February 2026, though the couple has yet to make a formal announcement.
Rashmika and Vijay who forst shared screen in the romantic hot Geetha Govindam and later in Dear Comrade, have been linked for several years. Despite maintaining privacy around their relationship, their public appearances and mutual admiration posts have often sparked conversations among fans.
Adding to the buzz, Rashmika's recent social media post on Dussehra went viral, with many fans speculating it was a subtle nod to her engagement. Dressed in a traditional outfit with a tilak on her forehead, she captioned her post, “Happy Dussehra my loves...This year, I'm feeling extra grateful because of all the love you've been showering on the Thamma trailer and our song...Your messages, your excitement, your constant support you make every moment bigger and happier for me And I can't wait to see you all super sooooon during the promotions...(sic).”
