Actor confirms marriage after months of speculation
Samantha Ruth Prabhu confirms her wedding to filmmaker Raj Nidimoru, ending months of reports about their relationship. She shares the news on December 1 with photos from the ceremony, posting a simple “01.12.2025” as her caption.
The wedding is held at the Linga Bhairavi Devi temple at the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore, attended by close friends and family. Samantha wears a maroon embroidered sari with gold jewellery, while Raj chooses a white kurta pyjama paired with an orange jacket.
Social media fills with congratulations
The photos attract messages from across the film industry. Actors including Ananya Panday, Malavika Mohanan, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Divya Prabha and Kalyani Priyadarshan respond with congratulatory notes.
Samantha and Raj have been seen together at several events in recent months but keep their relationship private until now.
A partnership that began on The Family Man
The two first work together on the second season of The Family Man, where Samantha plays the antagonist and Raj co-creates the series with Krishna D.K. She later appears in Citadel: Honey Bunny (2024), also directed by the duo.
Raj’s most recent release is The Family Man 3, which premieres on Prime Video on November 21, 2025, featuring Manoj Bajpayee, Nimrat Kaur and Jaideep Ahlawat. The season is co-written by Suman Kumar.
Their earlier marriages
Samantha was previously married to actor Naga Chaitanya from 2017 until their divorce in 2021. He later married actor Shobhita Dhulipala in December 2024.
Raj married Shhyamali De in 2015, and the couple filed for divorce in 2022.
The newly married pair now share their announcement publicly, marking a new chapter after years of working together in the industry.
