Shah Rukh Khan, fondly known as King Khan, made a memorable debut at the Met Gala 2025—and it’s not just Bollywood fans who are swooning. Hollywood celebrity and reality TV star Khloe Kardashian has now joined the long list of admirers charmed by the superstar’s presence at fashion’s biggest night.
In fact, it was Shah Rukh’s bold, culturally-rooted outfit and his iconic “K” necklace that had Khloe gushing on social media.
The 2025 Met Gala red carpet was a global celebration of fashion, themed “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style”. While Indian fashion powerhouses like Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Isha Ambani, Mona Patel, and Natasha Poonawalla dazzled with their sartorial returns, it was Shah Rukh’s debut that stood out as a historic moment.

Dressed in a sleek, all-black custom ensemble by Sabyasachi Mukherjee, SRK represented Indian menswear with a global twist—complete with a royal K-shaped necklace that quickly became the talk of the town.
Khloe Kardashian, who skipped this year’s Met Gala to spend the evening with her children True and Tatum Thompson, took to Instagram to share her admiration for the Bollywood icon.
Posting red carpet photos of Shah Rukh Khan, Khloe wrote, “I loved seeing King Khan at The Met. He’s the first male Bollywood actor to ever attend.” She also revealed her first introduction to the superstar came during her trip to India with sister Kim Kardashian last year, when they attended Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s grand pre-wedding celebrations.
Her admiration didn’t stop there. Khloe continued, “He looked amazing, and it’s so great to see how talented designers incorporate elements of their own culture and fashion with the theme of the event.” She also appreciated Sabyasachi’s design choices, highlighting how SRK’s outfit skillfully blended traditional Indian menswear with high fashion sensibilities suited for the Met Gala’s avant-garde expectations.

“And of course, I’m a fan of the K necklace 😉,” she concluded, adding a playful nod to the now-iconic accessory.
Shah Rukh Khan wasn’t the only Indian making waves at the event. Kiara Advani proudly showed off her baby bump in a designer ensemble, and Diljit Dosanjh, with his royal aesthetic, was voted Best Dressed Celebrity by fans in a Vogue poll. Yet it was SRK’s dignified presence and elegant styling that marked a milestone for Indian male representation on the global fashion stage.
Khloe’s enthusiastic praise has only added fuel to the admiration for Shah Rukh Khan’s global appeal—reminding the world that when Bollywood royalty steps out, the world truly takes notice.
