Couple share their daughter’s name in a joint announcement
Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani share that their daughter is named Saraayah Malhotra, introducing her in a joint Instagram post on Friday. The picture shows the couple holding their newborn’s toes as they unveil the name.
Their caption reads, “From our prayers, to our arms, our divine blessing, our princess, Saraayah Malhotra.”
A look back at their journey
Sidharth, 40, and Kiara, 34, married in February 2023 in an intimate ceremony at Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The couple, who first worked together in the acclaimed 2021 film Shershaah, kept their relationship private for years before tying the knot.
They welcomed their daughter in July and shared the news on Instagram with the message, “Our hearts are full and our world forever changed. We are blessed with a Baby Girl.”
What the actors are working on
Sidharth’s most recent film is Param Sundari, directed by Tushar Jalota. The movie, also featuring Janhvi Kapoor, releases on August 29.
Kiara appears in War 2 alongside Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film releases in August as a follow-up to the 2019 action drama War.
