It seems the dance fever around ‘Naatu Naatu’ from Indian blockbuster “RRR” is not receding too soon. After a couple of American cops were recently seen trying the footsteps of the song which bagged the Oscars earlier this week, ace India cricketer Virat Kohli tried doing its hook step.

The 34-year-old, who was fielding in the slips in the first one-day international (ODI) against Australia at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Friday (17), tried the ‘Naatu Naatu’ steps in between play. And like every other thing that the former India captain does, this act also went viral on social media in no time.

India, who beat Australia 2-1 in the Test series preceding the 50-over series, won toss and sent the visitors to bat first and they lost half their side for 169 in the 28th over despite an 81 from opening batter Mitchell Marsh. India were being led in the match by Hardik Pandya in the absence of regular captain Rohit Sharma who had family commitments.

Steve Smith, who is leading Australia in the ODI series in the absence of Pat Cummins, fell for only 22.

Five Indian bowlers, including spinners Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav, took a wicket each.

KL Rahul, who was dropped for the last two Tests against Australia, returned to India’s playing XI.

India XI: Hardik Pandya (captain), Shubman Gill, Ishan Kishan, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, KL Rahul (wicket-keeper), Ravindra Jadeja, Shardul Thakur, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Siraj and Mohammed Shami.

Australia XI: Steven Smith (captain), Travis Head, Mitchell Marsh, , Marnus Labuschagne, Josh Inglis (wicket-keeper), Cameron Green, Glenn Maxwell, Marcus Stoinis, Sean Abbott, Mitchell Starc and Adam Zampa.
