Dubai-based travel influencer and photographer Anunay Sood has passed away at the age of 32. His family confirmed the news through a statement shared on his official Instagram account. The cause of death has not been disclosed.
The family’s statement read:“It is with deep sadness that we share the news of our beloved Anunay Sood's passing. We kindly ask for your understanding and privacy as we navigate this difficult time. We humbly request you to avoid gathering crowd near personal property. Please keep his family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers. May his soul rest in peace.”
His final post from Las Vegas
Sood’s last Instagram post was shared just days before his passing. From Las Vegas, he uploaded photos from a luxury car brand event, writing: “Still can’t believe I spent the weekend surrounded by legends and dream machines. Which one would you take for a spin??”
The post, now flooded with tributes, shows Sood posing beside high-end cars, reflecting his trademark enthusiasm for travel and lifestyle content.
Remembering a digital creator who inspired wanderlust
Known for his travel photography and cinematic reels, Sood built a massive online community with over 1.4 million Instagram followers and 380,000 YouTube subscribers. His work often featured destinations across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
He was listed on Forbes India’s Top 100 Digital Stars for three consecutive years (2022–2024), recognised for transforming his passion for travel into a successful digital brand.
According to Forbes, Sood began his journey by documenting trips on Instagram before launching his own marketing firm in Dubai.
