Hollywood actor-writer Mindy Kaling says she is in awe of India’s Pink City Jaipur, its culture, food and people.
Kaling, best known for playing Kelly Kapoor in the NBC sitcom “The Office” and creating Netflix show “Never Have I Ever”, was on a brief trip to Jaipur, Rajasthan.
The 43-year-old actor shared photographs from her visit on her Instagram page and captioned the post: “The Pink City”.
During her stay, the Indian-origin artist visited the famous City Palace and enjoyed the traditional Rajasthani delights, including dal baati choorma and makki ki roti.
It is currently unclear if Kaling was in the city on a personal tour or professional visit. She was accompanied by writer Dan Goor, who is co-writing her upcoming romantic comedy with Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
Revolving around a big fat Indian wedding, the film will see Kaling in the role of an Indian-American, while Chopra will play her first cousin, who was born and raised in India.
