'Dhurandhar: The Revenge' uncut version gets Netflix release in US and Canada

Ranveer Singh-starrer Dhurandhar: The Revenge has officially arrived on OTT platforms for international viewers. The action drama is now streaming on Netflix in the United States and Canada with a special “raw and uncut” version that was not shown in Indian theatres.

The film started streaming overseas on Thursday (14), almost eight weeks after its theatrical release in India. Netflix shared the announcement on social media and wrote, “DHURANDHAR THE REVENGE (Raw & Undekha) is coming to Netflix in the US & Canada tomorrow.”

While audiences in North America can now watch the film online, viewers in India are still waiting for updates about its domestic OTT release.

The sequel, widely known as Dhurandhar 2, has continued the success of the franchise led by director Aditya Dhar and actor Ranveer Singh. The film has also achieved a major commercial milestone by crossing Rs 3000 crore worldwide.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, the movie is backed by Jio Studios and B62 Studios. It features a large ensemble cast that includes Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal and Sara Arjun.

The music of the film has been composed by Shashwat Sachdev. The soundtrack has also received a strong response on digital platforms since the movie’s theatrical release.

The makers are now expanding the film’s international reach. After its successful run in India, Dhurandhar is also set for a theatrical release in Japan on July 10. The announcement was made on Instagram along with a new poster confirming the overseas release.

The sequel stars Ranveer Singh in the lead role alongside Sara Arjun, Gaurav Gera, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Rakesh Bedi and Arjun Rampal.

The film has been produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar and Lokesh Dhar under the banners of Jio Studios and B62 Studios. It remains one of the most commercially successful Indian films released this year.
