ACTOR and Punjab Kings (PBKS) co-owner Preity Zinta's ecstatic celebration after her team's sensational victory over Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in New Chandigarh on Tuesday is trending on the internet.
In a low-scoring match, PBKS could set up a modest total of 111 after being bowled out inside 16 overs.
KKR looked set for a comfortable win reaching 71 for 3 in 9.1 overs.
Then they suffered a sensational collapse losing seven wicket for just 24 runs and were bundled out for 95 in 15.1 overs.
Leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal ran through KKR batting line-up to scalp four wickets for 28 runs, while pacer Marco Jansen chipped in with three wickets for 17 runs.
Xavier Bartlett, Glenn Maxwell, and Arshdeep Singh got one each.
The earlier lowest total defended was 116 by Chennai Super Kings against then Kings XI Punjab in 2009.
Preity rushed to the ground after the sensational win, and shared a warm hug with Yuzvendra, the video instantly went viral with many users praising her for the close bond she enjoys with her players.
