ACTORS Amy Jackson and Ed Westwick were married over the weekend in Italy, following their engagement announcement earlier this year. The couple revealed the news on Instagram by sharing a series of photographs from their wedding.
The ceremony saw Jackson, 32, wearing an off-shoulder white gown that featured a long embroidered trail, while Westwick, 37, donned a white tuxedo paired with a black bow tie. The couple captioned their post with, "The journey has just begun."
Westwick proposed to Jackson on January 29 in Gstaad, Switzerland, a picturesque location where the actor asked for her hand on a bridge. The engagement marked the next step in their relationship, which has been in the public eye due to their respective careers.
Jackson is best known for her performances in Indian cinema, with notable roles in films such as "Ekk Deewana Tha" and the recent action film "Crakk." Westwick gained international recognition for his role as Chuck Bass in the American teen drama series "Gossip Girl."
Prior to her relationship with Westwick, Jackson was engaged to George Panayiotou, a London-based entrepreneur. The former couple has a four-year-old son named Andreas, with whom Jackson remains close as she continues to navigate her career and personal life.
