DIOR has appointed Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor as its newest brand ambassador, the French luxury fashion house announced on Wednesday.
Kapoor, who has a significant presence in both film and fashion, will represent the collections created by Dior’s creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri.
Kapoor, 39, expressed her appreciation for the brand, stating, "Each of their collections present a truly unique vision with intricate craftsmanship, celebrating heritage in a way that deeply resonates with my own sense of style."
She added that the collaboration is an extension of the cultural relationship that has long existed between Dior and India.
The actor has built a reputation not only for her work in films such as "Neerja" and "Khoobsurat" but also as a producer and a prominent fashion figure.
Kapoor’s most recent project is the crime thriller "Blind," which premiered on JioCinema in 2023.
