Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff’s team has addressed the wave of online speculation following the firing incident near Mumbai’s Juhu area, but the actor himself has yet to make a public statement about the attack, according to a clarification issued by his representatives.
The statement, released on Wednesday (21), came three days after unidentified men on a motorcycle allegedly opened fire at Shroff’s vehicle near Pushpa Park on October 18. The actor had reportedly been leaving the area after playing football. He escaped unharmed, while his driver and another person were injured, according to media reports.
Despite the seriousness of the incident, the team’s communication focused on fake stories, AI-generated videos and unauthorized content attributed to the actor, rather than offering a personal account of what happened.
Why has Tiger Shroff not spoken publicly?
The absence of a direct statement from Shroff leaves questions about his decision to remain silent. However, his team has not explained why he has chosen not to address the incident personally, and there is no confirmed information establishing the reason.
In its statement, Team Tiger said: “We would like to categorically clarify that Tiger Shroff has made no statements, released no videos, and authorised no communication regarding the recent incident or any related developments.”
The team also warned that fabricated stories and AI-generated videos were being circulated online as though they represented the actor’s actual response.
“It has come to our attention that several social media pages and digital platforms are circulating fabricated stories, AI-generated videos and scripted narratives, falsely attributed to Tiger. These are completely false, unauthorised and intended to mislead the public,” the statement said.
The clarification makes clear that the actor’s silence should not be confused with the statements and reactions circulating online. It does not, however, establish whether he intends to speak publicly at a later date.
Team warns of legal action over fake content
Shroff’s representatives urged media outlets and social media accounts to verify information before publishing it, warning that those responsible for creating or sharing fabricated material could face legal action.
“Any individual or page found creating, promoting or circulating such fabricated content will face appropriate legal action,” the team said.
Police investigation continues
The shooting remains under investigation. Police registered a case and began searching for those responsible after the October 18 incident.
Social media claims have linked the attack to individuals allegedly associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, but the alleged connection has not been independently verified by police, according to the report.
For now, Shroff’s team has addressed misinformation, but the actor has offered no public account of the incident. Whether he will break his silence remains unclear.
